Celebrating Jack Batten – Ageless Remarkable Honoree (Class of 2017)

Rev. Dr. Jack Batten is our Featured Ageless - Remarkable St. Louisan of the day!

Jack is a retired lieutenant and World War II veteran and an ordained minister. One of the aspects that makes Rev. Dr. Jack Batten so remarkable is his ability to keep pushing. At 90 years old, Dr. Batten continues his career serving as a substitute worship leader and preaches at various churches, drawing on life experience gained traveling to 67 different countries on every continent.

Nubia Trail Opens At Cape Albeon

The rain cleared just in time for friends and family to gather for a joyful occasion as the ribbon was cut to reveal the lovely paved path that easily connects Cape Albeon Harbor to the Village.  The Trail, donated by Nubia and Joe Hahn is a tribute to Joe’s wife Nubia of 22 years is a welcome improvement for the residents at Cape Albeon.

Joe shared, “I am happy we could do this for the community where we live, we like it here a lot and it is a joy seeing my fellow residents enjoy the trail.”.
