What regulations apply to Cape Albeon Senior Living Community?
Cape Albeon's assisted living building is licensed as an Assisted Facility by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.
What if residents need health care or personal care services while residing at Cape Albeon?
Home Health Care services—physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and skilled nursing care—can be provided in residents’ retirement apartments or retirement cottages. Supportive services for personal care, transportation to physician appointments, or errands can also be provided in residents' homes.
What assistance can be provided if a resident at Cape Albeon needs a higher level of care?
Cape Albeon's staff is available to assist residents and family members in determining the appropriate setting for each individual.
Will Mom or Dad be encouraged to participate in community life at Cape Albeon?
Yes. A full calendar of events and activities for our senior living community ensures that there is something of interest for everyone. We ask new residents about what they enjoy, and then follow up with reminders if needed.
Could I go to an assisted living apartment for a short time?
Yes. There are furnished respite apartments available. Often residents will stay with us while recovering from surgery, or while family is traveling.
